Dad Style Done Right

2015: The year of the dad obsession (looking at you, dad bod, you strange phenomenon). In honor of Father’s Day, here we present four approved dads who stylishly stand out from the fray.

Justin Timberlake: The singer/songwriter/actor/honorary “SNL” castmate (really, JT, stop being so damn perfect) welcomed a little boy in April. When he’s not hanging with the baby and wife Jessica Biel or touting his Memphis pride, you’ll find him “Suit & Tie” style in retro loafersformal black bow tie, and a super-sharp tux.

Dwyane Wade: Maybe Lebron left him for Cleveland, but think twice before saying D-Wade had anything but a stellar year. In 2014, he married longtime girlfriend Gabrielle Union, bringing some female power to the Wade household, which includes kids Zaire, Zion, and Dahveon. Oh, and he’s a guest designer for yours truly. Tap into the dude’s game-winning style by refusing to shy away from color and keeping it summery with a linen suit paired with a necktie and pocket square from his brand new collection.

Neil Patrick Harris: From his days on “How I Met Your Mother”, our favorite Barney Steinson is literally… (wait for it) – legendary. The ultimate Dad at home, we fell in love with this father of two’s sharp on screen style and he continues to hit the mark on every occasion. Another Tie Bar favorite, Neil has partnered with The Tie Bar with a charitable collection for Fathers Day with 40% of proceeds from his curated picks going to The Harlem School of The Arts.

Chris Pratt: Andy Dwyer from “Parks and Recreation” no longer, Chris Pratt has moved onto bigger things. Gigantic in fact. This summer, the 35-year-old father of one stars in the latest Jurassic flick, “Jurassic World.” But in the real world, we look to him for every man style, like his safari inspired look on the June issue of GQ. Pull this look off this tonal with a utility shirt, solid wool/silk tie and classic tie bar.
